Stretchy Tassel Bracelets

Romantic tassel stretch bracelets, quick and easy DIY jewelry from Jesse James

This is Pea signing in again and you wanna know what’s been on my mind?? TASSELS!! They are everywhere so I’m here today to show you how to make some super simple Stretchy Tassel Bracelets with our new suede and leather tassels!

Tassels add flair to a simple DIY stretch braceletLet’s get started, you will need a couple of supplies to make these cute bracelets…

Make an easy bracelet with tassels and an owl charm. Simple and fun DIYMost importantly you will need stretchy cord! We like Beadalon’s Elasticity because it is super strong and won’t break on you, even if you tug it super hard. Elasticity comes in four flavors, all available in the online shop. I then matched up some strands to the tassels and lastly decided on an owl charm for a little extra spunk!

Tassel time! Jewelry making is more fun when you put a tassel on itThe first thing I did was make my owl tassel dangle. I simply attached the leather tassel and owl charm onto a gold jump ring and closed it off. The tassel looks like an extension of the owls feathers.. he is ready to take flight and dazzle my wrist!!

Bead mats are fantastic jewelry toolsI then let my beads loose on a bead mat…no worries cause they aren’t going anywhere!! Hehehe. I then strung my beads and tassels on the stretchy cord to my liking and tied three square-knots to secure the bracelet. I used one strand per bracelet because I prefer a more snug fit but you may need a few extra beads to get your desired length!

Helpful Knotting Hint: If you can, tie the knot next to beads with big holes so you can hide the knot!

Stay crafty,

Pea
