Dazzling Cup-chain Bracelets
This is Pea again dropping in to show you a SUPER quick way to make a beautiful and sparkly cup-chain bracelet in minutes. You will be amazed at what you can do!
Beadalon makes these awesome slide connectors, where you just slide the cup-chain right in! They come in a couple different sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 1″, Gold and Silver. The cool thing about them (as if they needed another reason!) is that they come complete with lobster clasp and extender chain!
I measured my wrist and cut the cup-chain 1″ shorter than what my wrist measures because I prefer a more snug fit but that is entirely up to you. You will need 5-8 strips of cup-chain, depending on length of slide connector. Keep in mind the inside diameter of the clasp is 4.5mm so make sure your cup-chain is a wee bit smaller than that!
I laid the cup-chain down to get a visual of how the bracelet would look, BELLA! Then, this is where it get’s tricky…you just slide the cup-chain into the slide connector (see what I did there? hehe)! Once you’ve loaded all your cup-chain strands into the connector you close the little flap with needle nose pliers or you can push down with your finger like I did.
Before you know it you will be making a bracelet for Mom, Grandma, your friends, your co-workers and even the nice lady at the post office!! That’s how easy it is to make these and the cup-chain comes in an array of colors, the hardest part will be choosing colors!
Happy Beading, Ya’ll!!
Smiles for miles,
Pea
